He’s 16 months younger than his sister, and his passion is science, as his Dad has spurred him to ‘be a thinker’ and imagine the unimaginable. Ethan’s world doesn’t have time for the mundane, like soccer, TV and hanging out at the Mall. That’s because he’s on a mission to become a great scientist like his dad. In between T-4 Missions and school, he’s consumed with the voracious reading of his Dad’s research papers and science journals. He’s always conducting scientific experiments in Dr. G.’s basement lab in his passionate quest to create an engine that operates on salt water. He’s definitely a ‘fish out of water’ when it comes to dealing with bad guys because he’s never even been in a fight! But it’s an opportunity to use some of his cool inventions (see ‘Gadgets’).
Ethan loves to inject interesting scientific facts into regular conversations. When Madison’s zapping something in the microwave, Ethan will enthusiastically explain how it works and how Dr. G. used the technology to develop an invention. Ethan’s dress code never changes; jeans, shirt hangin’ out, Nike’s Air Pegasus Zoom 33 runners and a yellow cap - and he never wears socks!
He and Madison have to be very careful to keep their 4MIDABLES work a secret from the world, and especially their folks. It’s easy to forget they’re still just regular kids with school work and curfews. Sometimes the stress of balancing their dual lives becomes a little too much for them to handle, which their parents attribute to them being teenagers!
